Many changes are coming in terms of staffing and support for the Digital Media Commons, among them the addition of Media Technologist Brittany Self. The DMC is a fully equipped Mac and PC platform work area that utilizes the full Adobe Creative Suite software to assist USF students. The DMC staff also trains students to use the DSLR Cameras, GoPro cameras, microphones, digital recorders, and more before checking the equipment out to students. In addition, students can schedule time slots to use the recently-added Green Screen studio for experimenting with video effects. All of these resources are FREE to our USF students. You can find the DMC on social media using @usfdmc to see our most recent happenings.The USF Tampa Library’s vision for the future includes workshops, DMC student tutorial videos, and 3D Printing. It is an exciting new resource that will only grow as more students hear about what Brittany and her staff have to offer.
