The USF Tampa Library has converted one of its media rooms into a Green Screen Room this semester for students at the Digital Media Commons to use for their multimedia projects. The room can be reserved online for 1 to 3 hours at a time. The room is used by students daily. Green screens allow video creators to superimpose their subjects onto virtual backgrounds, place them over animated digital backdrops or transport them to a desert oasis. Through visual effects you can make your subjects fly through the sky like a superhero. For more information, see this article from Videomaker. Pictured here is the library’s green screen room.
