Where Should You Keep Your Data? – The Chronicle of Higher Education via kwout
A recent article in the Chronicle of Higher Education by Karen Markin, talks about the mandates from federal granting agencies for researchers to store and share their data. Data management is now part of many federal grant proposals and those with more than $100 million are required to develop plans to make data publicly accessible. The article goes on to describe the role of academic libraries in assisting researchers with data management plans, as well as storing and preserving data.
